Three steps from repo to running
Connect a repo
Paste a public GitHub URL and pick a name. The name becomes your subdomain.
We build it
Dependencies install in an isolated container. You watch the build log live.
It goes live
Your app starts with HTTPS. If the new version fails to start, the old one keeps serving.
Running on Shipvolta right now
These demo apps were deployed straight from GitHub. Open one.
Yes. One app and no card needed. A free app goes to sleep after 30 minutes without visits and wakes up on the next visit, which takes a few seconds. We review new accounts before the first deploy to keep out abuse. Upgrade when you need more apps or more memory.
What can I deploy?
Node.js apps with a package.json, Python apps with requirements.txt, and static sites with an index.html. See the docs for details.
Does my repo have to be public?
For now, yes. Private repositories are on the way.
Can my app save files?
Files written inside an app are reset on each deploy. Use an external database for data you want to keep.
How do I upgrade?
Choose a plan on this page or from your dashboard. We'll email you to set up payment and raise your limits.
